• Cheruku Rasalu mango is the most popular juice mango from Andhra Pradesh. The mango is extremely sweet and juicy when it is ripe. The name comes from its sweetness (cheruku meaning sugarcane in Telugu). It is a larger version of Chinna Rasalu.

Storage

1. Room Temperature: If the mangoes are ripe and you plan to consume them within a few days, you can store them at room temperature. Keep them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
2. Refrigeration: To extend the shelf life of ripe mangoes, you can refrigerate them. Place the mangoes in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator, ideally wrapped in a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
3. Unripe Mangoes: If your mangoes are unripe and you want to ripen them, you can place them in a paper bag at room temperature. Check them regularly as they ripen, and transfer them to the refrigerator once they reach your desired ripeness.
4. Avoid Moisture: Keep mangoes away from moisture, as excess moisture can cause them to spoil more quickly. Ensure they are not stored near other fruits or vegetables that produce ethylene gas, which can accelerate ripening.
